8. The Divergent Series: Alligiant

This continuous part of the Divergent series was supposed to have the nterest of he viewers from the original movie, and made $66.2 million and $179 million worldwide 🌎

7. Popstar: Never Stop Stopping

Despite the overall good ratings, like a 76 on Rotten Tomatoes, it didn't do well at the box office. The movie only made $9.5 million, ouch!

6. Independence Day: Resurgence

Independence Day: Resurgence made the list because it made $103.1 million, and $389.6 million worldwide. The reason why, is simply because without the original character Will Smith, it made the movie less than a third of profit than the original made.

5. The BFG

The BFG made $55.5 million dollars, but thankfully made $178 million dollars worldwide, which was a surprise because it's a Disney movie!!

4. Alice Through The Looking Glass

Alice Through The Looking Glass did not seem as a surprise to be one of the top worst movies of 2016. This movie made $77 million and $229.5 million worldwide.

3. Ghostbusters

Ghostbusters, is considered to be one of the biggest disappointments of the year, making only $128.3 million. At least this movie made $229.5 million worldwide, but does that truly count ?

2. Gods of Egypt

Gods of Egypt was a "buzz" since the very beginning, starting off with the casting choices; which includes no important Egyptian actor when the movie is about Egypt! This movie made $31.2 million , but overseas it made $119 million, $150.7 million worldwide.

Ben-Hur was the worst movie of them all depending on the statistics! The $100 million dollar movie only made $26.4 million dollars, $94.1 million worldwide.
